We offer 4 cozy and comfortable bedrooms, all ensuite, of which two are family rooms. Another is perfectly positioned on the ground floor for the less able. Pile-Inn is probably the oldest house in Underberg, offering all the charm and hospitality, you would expect from a larger establishment in the Southern Drakensberg. Underberg is a small village, with golfing, hiking, horse out rides and river activities to offer which we can arrange for you, before your arrival. Relax on our patio, with a sundowner, watching the sunbirds taking their last drink. In Winter, the log fire is lit in your guest lounge, for your added comfort, making your stay with us that much more cozy. A trip to Underberg would not be complete without a day trip to Lesotho, via Sani Pass (Valid Passports essential), eating lunch in the highest pub in Southern Africa, with our local tour guide. DirectionsFrom the N3, exit 99, take the R617 to Underberg. Pass through Boston, and Bulwer. From Bulwer, after 45 mins, look for Puckety Farm Stall on the left. Shortly after that, you will see Pile-Inn B&B brown direction sign, pointing to Old main Road. 150m on the right, you will see us. Total journey time from Exit 99, is approximately 1Hr, 30mins.
From Kokstad, follow the signs to Underberg, passing through Swartberg. As you enter Underberg, drive through, passing the Shell garage, on your left. Shortly after that, you will see our Pile-Inn brown direction sign, pointing to the left. Take that turn. After you have gone over one speed hump, bear right, and go over two more speed humps. You will see Pile-Inn on the left.
