AttractionsSpa The spa features 17 generous, airy treatment rooms (two of which are couples rooms), all with wonderful views over the native bush and surrounding gardens, a four-chair Manicure/Pedicure room, Rassoul, Flotation Pool, Kneip Pools, Jacuzzi, Sauna and Steam rooms. The eco-design incorporates natural materials with thatch and living roofs (soil and planting on top, where small animals can graze). All therapists have been hand picked, worldwide, for their talents, and the choice of Spa product is Pevonia, which is internationally acclaimed and a member of the American Organic association.
DirectionsFrom Johannesburg - Harrismith Take the N3 Highway south towards Durban. Remain on the N3 Highway until you reach Pietermaritzburg. Pass the Midlands Mall on your left hand side, and take the next off ramp off the highway. Exit 81 (Church St/ Greytown). At the traffic lights turn left, towards Greytown/Otto's Bluff. Continue straight through the next two sets of traffic lights. The NorthWay Mall SuperSpar is ahead of you. Just before the traffic lights, take the slip road off to the left this is Otto's Bluff Road. Travel straight along Otto's Bluff Road for approx. 20km's. Please be aware that some sections of the road are gravel. After crossing Morton's drift, turn off to the left (Sign Posted Karkloof Spa). Travel along on this road for about 2km's until you reach a gate on your left hand side. From Durban International Airport When leaving the main airport exit gates, travel past the petrol station and turn left over the highway. At the traffic lights, turn right, but keep in the left hand lane. Drive straight across the next set of traffic lights and immediately thereafter, glide off left onto the N2 Highway towards Durban. Stay on this highway until the turn off indicating left onto the N3 towards Pietermaritzburg. Stay in the left hand lane and drive towards Pietermaritzburg. Drive on the N3 Highway for about 45 minutes. In the Pietermaritzburg area (still driving on the N3 Highway) take Exit 81 (Church St/Greytown).
