Brookfield offers the warmest hospitality and gracious surrounds. Differentiated between a country lodge and a stay-on-a-farm, the Brookfield Farmhouse hospitality approach is a single-minded focus on stylish B&B suites and personalised service in a natural environment for all seasons. This establishment has its roots firmly settled in the fertile and bountiful Hilton valley, with views towards the Karkloof and the Drakensberg mountains. Less than 12 minutes drive from the city of Pietermaritzburg and just down the road from Hilton Village, Brookfield is an environment filled with peace and tranquility that has been created to ensure that guests feel pampered and relaxed. A renowned bed and breakfast establishment, Brookfield Farmhouse is on the doorstep of the well known Hilton and St Anne’s College private schools. The Hilton College Theatre positively fizzes with artists and crafter’s energy, ideas and creativity during the festival times. Our love of nature offers guests insight into the mysteries of indigenous flora and fauna. During your stay, see if you can spot the endangered blue crane, during breeding season, often found in the railed paddocks or the shy Oribi and many bird species, which abound on the farm surrounds.
